Concrete Foundations in Paducah, TX

Paducah is the Cottle County seat at the junction of US-83 and US-70, and it's also where we've already put concrete in the ground twice: a 50' x 70' metal building foundation and a 24' x 40' metal building foundation with concrete piers, both graded, formed, reinforced, and finished level to the building's footprint. That work is the template for every foundation we pour in town, whether it's going under a house, a shop, or another steel frame headed for a cotton farm or cattle operation nearby.

This edge of the Rolling Plains, heading toward the Caprock, puts real stress on a slab — baked-dry summers followed by hard rain move ground that isn't compacted right, and open country wind loads up whatever sits on top. So we build the pad before we set a single form: graded, compacted, and tied with rebar through the whole slab, with thickened edges and load points where the structure needs them. It's the same process whether the foundation sits inside Paducah or out toward Quanah, Crowell, or Guthrie.
